Lisa sat down with Mike Lupica and over 200 fans for his launch of his latest young adult fiction novel, MILLION DOLLAR THROW at the Lodo Tattered Cover in Denver. A contest for $1000 was created around the book for one child who could throw a football through the MILLION DOLLAR THROW GOAL net. Thanks to Penguin Books for Young Readers for offering this contest and bestowing a beautiful check to the young winner!

Lisa sat down with The Q - Quincy Jones,- at a gala fundraiser and fashion show for Down Syndrome at the Hyatt Convention Center in Denver, Colorado where Mr. Jones received an award for his dedication to the organization. The evening raised over $1 million. A success indeed!

"LIVE with Lisa" broadcasted a 2-hour special edition show from the 9th Annual First American State Bank Fitness Festival. Close to 3000 people attended the 5k Fun Run, 1K Family Fun Walk and restaurant tastings from landmarks around Greenwood Village. Featured guests were Sgt. Rob Blue from Greenwood Athletic Club, Michael Ditchfield from Jing Restaurant at The Landmark. Kids and race participants also chimed in throughout the show.

Lisa attended the press conference at The Inverness Hotel where Joe Sakic officially announced his retirement from hockey after 20 years. He was the NHL's All-Time Scorer and served as Captain of the Colorado Avalanche for 16 consecutive years. Also paying tribute were fellow teammate Adam Foote and Colorado's Governor Bill Ritter, Jr.
